Before we can do network analysis with Colasoft Capsa, we must make sure Capsa is properly deployed so that we can get the correct information we want.

This tutorial will demonstrate how to deploy Colasoft Capsa under two different network environments - shared network and switched network, and how to monitor a specific network segment. These deployments can also be applied to other sniffer software.
