When you stop the current capture, all of the packets currently in the buffer are retained. If you then restart capture, Colasoft Capsa will clear or reset some items from the packet buffer in order to keep the data displayed accurate and up to date. Theses items include statistic values and graph data, analyzers,
conversations data and the packets stored in the packet buffer.
The log data of advanced analyzers can be cleared optionally, including email messages, FTP transfers, HTTP requests, DNS analysis, four IM activities and diagnosis events. If you don't want to lose these data, you should save the project before restart capture.
