Conversation Statistic Tabs
The conversation statistics are provided in four tabs: Physical Conversation Tab, IP Conversation Tab, TCP Conversation Tab and UDP Conversation Tab. In these tabs, you can get detailed statistics on two bidirectional communication ends instead of statistics on single side endpoint.
These statistics provide the addresses of the two bidirectional communication ends, duration of transaction,
the traffic volume of each node, start time and end time of communication. These records will help you analyze the conversation of the nodes and find communication anomalies.
The four conversation statistic tabs are briefly introduced below:
- Physical Conversation: Displays convesation statistics on MAC addresses. This tab is visible only when you select a MAC address item in Physical Explorer or protocol item below the IP layer in Protocol Explorer of the Node Explorer window.
- IP Conversation: Displays convesation statistics on IP addresses. This tab is visible only when you select an IP address item in the Physical Explorer or in the IP Explorer, and IP protocol in the Protocol Explorer of the Node Explorer window.
- TCP Conversation: Displays convesation statistics on TCP protocol and traffic flows reconstruction and the Timing Chart. This tab is visible only when you select TCP protocol (or higher-layer protocols) in Protocol Explorer, or any IP address item in Physical Explorer and IP Explorer of the Node Explorer window.
- UDP Conversation: Displays convesation statistics on UDP protocol and traffic flows reconstruction. This tab is visible only when you select UDP protocol (or higher-layer protocols) in Protocol Explorer, or any IP address item in Physical Explorer and IP Explorer of the Node Explorer window.
