Start Page

The Start Page is the first screen you see when you launched the program, which will guide you to start an analysis project step-by-step. It contains the following parts:

• Analysis Mode (See more details about Capture and Replay)
• Adapter Status
• Analysis Profile
• Other Settings

These parts aim at leading you to start an analysis mission to your need. It will really save your time in finding useful analysis results in countless analysis items.

Adapter Status

This part is only visible when the Capture analysis mode is selected. And when any of the network adapters checked in Wired Network Adapter(s), it displays real-time traffic utilization of the checked network adapter. Otherwise if a wireless adapter is used, it displays the list of all the AP scanned by the system.

Other Settings

This section tells your settings on the parts of the left side and some other related settings. You can go over this part to reexamine your settings before you start an analysis.

You can click on the right side to read tips and introduction of each setting part.

And it contains the following settings:

• Capture Filter
• Network Profile
• Data Storage

If you just want to analyze some specific packets on the network, you should use packet filters. You can click Set Packet Filter to open the Filter dialog box to configure filters (Read Using Filters for more details).

To change or manage a network profile, please read Network Profile for more details.

Need to save the captured packets to disk or save the log files to disk, just click Set Data Storage button (Read Data Storage for details).
