Colasoft Announces Release of Capsa Network Analyzer v11.1 with Enhanced Usability

April 25, 2018-Colasoft Co., Ltd, an innovative provider of network performance analysis and diagnostics solutions, today announced the release of Capsa Network Analyzer v11.1, a real-time portable network analyzer for wired and wireless network monitoring, bandwidth analysis and network troubleshooting.

Capsa v11.1 has added support for replaying specific packets according to users’ requirements. With the new version, users now can select specific packets to replay according to their requirements. For example, if users add three packets to the Replay window, but only want to replay the first two packets, they just need to check the box in front of packets and Capsa will only replay the selected packets.

Besides, Packet Storage Filter is added to Capsa v11.1 for storing particular packets. In previous versions, Capsa storages all the packets that are captured by default. With Capsa v11.1, if users enable Packet Storage Filters, they can only save those packets they are interested. If users only want to save the packets of ICMP protocol for replaying, they just need to enable this function to save the ICMP packets. Somehow, using Packet storage filters can save the storage space of local disk.

In addition, Capsa v11.1 has added support to export and import advanced display filters. If users reinstall Capsa on a new machine or update it to a new version, there is no need to reconfigure Advanced Display Filters manually, they can simply export Advanced Display Filters first and then import it to the newly installed Capsa.

Colasoft Announces the Release of nChronos v5.4

nChronos v5.4 has added full support for VoIP analysis, assisting users in troubleshooting VoIP networks. The new VoIP view includes Summary, VoIP Conversation, VoIP Endpoint, VoIP Endpoint Conversation, Network Segment, Segment- Segment and VoIP Alarms. With metrics such as conversation delay, MOS, jitter, packet loss rate, Colasoft users are able to visualize their VoIP data for troubleshooting.
