How to

Scan the local network
To scan the local network, you only need to specify a local subnet in the blank and click">". The scan results will be displayed in a second as shown in figure1.

Add scan results into database
To add a single result you may right click on it and then select"Add to Database"in the popup menu or you may click the"Add"button. Press"Shift"to select consecutive result; to select inconsecutive results press"Ctrl", "Ctrl+A" or select "Select All" in the right click pop menu to select all results.

Edit scan results and add attributes
Once you have added the scan results in the database, you can directly edit the results and add attributes to these results. To edit the scan results, click on the"Database"tab and double click on the filed you want to modify.

Automatic Comparison
During each scan process. Colasoft MAC Scanner will automatically compare the scan results with that in the database and mark the deference in"Compare Result"column, helping you identify and block outside network equipment.

Export Scan Results
You may choose to export the scan results in txt, csdat, cscntab, and csv formats. You may export one, multiple or all scan results.
