Server

Operating system:

• Windows Server 2003
• Windows Server 2008 R2

CPU: Main frequency >=2 GHz

RAM: >=4GB

RAID r/w performance: >250 MB/s

Note:

• These hardware requirements are suggested for the heavy-loaded 1,000 Mbps networks. If your network traffic isn’t heavy, or you just want to try the product right now, you can use a server with less powerful hardware pieces.
• The server should have two NICs if it captures from a mirroring port (SPAN) of a switch and you want to use nChronos console to connect to the server remotely.
